MASTERPIECE: The video-manifesto of the 8 Laws of Sergey Kalmykov is a film device developed as part of ORTA’s

New Genius methodology. Rather than functioning as a traditional documentary, the work records the enactment and technological unfolding of the mystery “Svetoprestavleniye Sergey Kalmykov,” situating the moving image within the operational logic of the New Genius.

Created through a performative engagement with process and composition, the film manifests the principles of the Eight Laws of Composition as dynamic forces within time and space, foregrounding both practice and vision in the work of Sergey Kalmykov and its ongoing articulation through ORTA’s research.
