The New Genius Experience of The Great Atomic Bombreflector — Seoul Iteration

The 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, Seoul, KR, 2025

A performative collective algorithm and the 3rd stage of the Planetary sci-fi project The Great Atomic Bombreflector

The New Genius Experience of The Great Atomic Bombreflector" at the 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale is a two-part project, continuing ORTA’s program to create a revolutionary device to transform the destructive energy of Atomic Inhumanity into the Genius Forces of global uplift: The Great Atomic Bombreflector.

The starting point for the project was 40 years of atomic explosions in Kazakhstan, which turned the entire country into one big testing ground. The project is based on ORTA’s New Genius Theory—a philosophical and artistic system inspired by the visionary Kazakhstani artist, writer, and thinker Sergey Kalmykov (1891-1967).

Two parts were developed specifically for Seoul: a collective sci-fi ritual-performance and an immersive installation.

The first part, The New Genius Experience, is a ritualized theatrical experiment on the collective laying of a Spectacular Channel for the flow of Genion particles from the Universal Core of Seoul to the Core of Atomic Inhumanity. Performed by Guide-Performer Alexandra Morozova and a team of Seoul-based Researchers-Testers and built from 15,000 disposable aluminum food containers, the experiment leads each participant through a transformative journey involving transcending the visible reality, confronting the Atomic Inhumanity, activation of everyone’s Inner Genius, and darkness-to-light transformation.

The second part, The New Genius Temple is a site-specific installation for one visitor created for the Crystal Gallery at Seoul Museum of Arts. In this temple-installation, also made of aluminum containers, each visitor will be able to connect to their Genions and launch them through the Spectacular Channel. The portal for launching the Genions is the invention of ORTA, which combines the texts of Sergey Kalmykov and the properties of traditional Kazakh embroidery "biz keste" for connecting realities.

Together, the performance and installation form an integrated system that will not only transform the world's destructive energy into creative energy, but will also be an important step towards creating The Great Atomic Bombreflector.
