Sacred Expositions of the Great and Immortal LAI–PEE–CHU–PLEE–LapAPA is the first New Genius book and the first publication within ORTA’s New Genius artistic framework, released on the occasion of the Kazakhstan National Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale. The volume was compiled and produced by ORTA and published by the Kazakhstan Contemporary Art Foundation.
While formally accompanying the exhibition, the book extends beyond the format of a catalogue. It brings together theoretical texts, artistic reflections, and contextual materials dedicated to Sergey Kalmykov, ORTA, and the New Genius.
The publication features contributions by Valentina Buchinskaya, Alexander Brenner, Elena Kovalskaya, Dmitry Mazorenko, Sergey Maslov, Heiner Goebbels, Sabina Kuangaliyeva, and Rustem Begenov, forming a polyphonic field of voices around the emergence of the New Genius and constituting its first written layer.
