Zen-Extravaganza
The First Atomic Bombreflector
NONAME Festival, Meyerhold Center, Moscow, RU, 2021

Zen-Extravaganza The First Atomic Bombreflector is a prototype performance of future Bombreflector devices, incorporating live embroidery of Sacred Expositions by Alexandra Morozova, live music by Nurgul Nussipzhanova and Acell Shaldibayeva, a choir of 20 performers, and the Fragile Orchestra practice for 100 participants
The prototype was activated five times on the main stage of the Meyerhold Center, which was entirely transformed into an immersive environment constructed from nearly one thousand square meters of kitchen aluminum foil.
For each of the 500 audience members, a dedicated costume was created, and real Kazakh musical instruments—dombras—were distributed for use within the performance.
The work would later become the first stage of the planetary project The Great Atomic Bombreflector—a program aimed at developing a device for the transformation of the destructive energy of Atomic Inhumanity.
Commissioned by the NONAME international decolonial festival.
Produced by ORTA.
